WE BUILD HYBRID ATHLETES, NOT JUST MEMBERSHIPS

Hybrid Performance was built on a simple idea: high-performance training shouldn’t be reserved for elite athletes. We take proven methods from HYROX, strength and fight sports and turn them into smart, coach-led sessions for everyday people.
Our programming is structured in clear training blocks — from HRX Foundational to Engine, Power and Complete — so you always know what you’re training for and how each session moves you closer to your next race or personal best.
We’re not a flashy show gym or a hardcore fight club. We are a performance space with an inclusive, no-ego culture where you work hard, move well and celebrate progress together, no matter your starting point.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

BEFORE YOU START, READ THIS

From first-time HYROX athletes to experienced lifters, everyone has questions before they jump in. These answers will help you choose the right starting point and get the most out of Hybrid Performance.
1. Is Hybrid Performance only for advanced athletes?

No. Hybrid Performance is a high-performance facility, but you don’t need to be an elite athlete to train here. All HYROX, strength and boxing sessions are scalable: coaches adjust movements, loads and intensity to your level. Whether you’re new to structured training or already competing, our HYROX gym in Amsterdam meets you where you are and helps you move forward safely.

2. I’ve never done HYROX before. Where do I start?

If you’re new to HYROX, you start with HRX Foundational and beginner-friendly HYROX classes. We break the race down into simple blocks, teach the movement standards and help you understand pacing, transitions and technique. From there you can progress into HRX Engine, Power and Complete sessions as you get stronger and more confident in our HYROX gym in Amsterdam.

3. Do I need fight sports experience for Boxing & Kickboxing classes?

No, you don’t need any fight sports background. Our Hybrid Boxing and Kickboxing & Punch Bag classes focus on bag and pad work, technique and conditioning — not hard sparring or stepping into a ring. Coaches teach stance, guard and basic combinations step by step, so both beginners and experienced fighters can train together at the right level.

4. What’s the difference between Gym Only, Group Only and All Access memberships?

Gym Only memberships are for people who mainly want independent training in our Open Gym, with access to all performance equipment but no group classes. Group Only is for those who primarily want HYROX, strength, boxing and conditioning classes with coaching and programming included. All Access combines both: full access to classes and Open Gym, ideal if you want the complete Hybrid Performance experience in Amsterdam.

5. Can I try a class or visit the gym before committing?

Yes. You can start with a trial class or an intake to experience the space, meet the coaches and feel what training at our HYROX gym in Amsterdam is like before you choose a membership. During your visit we’ll look at your goals, level and schedule and recommend the classes or membership that make the most sense for you.
